I just came across these and they look like they would be ideal as a day pack in a canoe.

I used a hydration pack without the bladder for years. It would hang by the strap on a thwart in the canoe or lay under the bungees on the kayak deck. Once at a stop, like a local restaurant I could remove it to go inside.

Looks like a good choice. Except if it comes with tackle organizer boxes.

Yes the interior set-up would have to be right. Iā€™d like to see some of them in person. I have a Mountainsmith Day pack that has served me well for about 30 years but I seem to want to carry more stuff with me on day trips as time goes by.
