Saturday June 11, 2005 is free fishing day in Idaho. No license is required for the day and Fish and Game wardens will be putting on demos and have activities for kids at various sites around the state. Get out and fish or just get out and enjoy the activities.

Texas had its free fishing day on June 6. Until August 31, certain state parks do not require a fishing license to fish from the bank or, if the lake or stream is bound on all sides by the park. So, Texans, not having the money to buy a license isn’t an excuse.
