Searching for two used sit in all around lower volume touring plastic kayaks in the 16 to 17 foot range. Some possible models are listed below:

Tempest 165-170
P&H Scorpio LV, MV
Northshore Atlantic
Boreal designs Baffin
Valley Etain LV, MV
Possibly a NC 17 glass boat

Many thanks for the NC information. Problem is that i could not test it around this area as far as i know and the price may be above my budget. They are great boats!
