The whale shown is not a grey whale, as listed in the email. I am not totally up on South Africa whales, but it looks more like a right or bowhead whale to me. Gray whales are only in north pacific (except for one or two seen in the Atlantic, which are believed to have made their way across the recently ice free passages north of Canada).
The grey whale description is in the paddling.com listing, but was not something in the original Youtube video.
