I have my kayaks registered in Ohio and plan to paddle the inter coastal near Myrtle later this year. What do I need in the way of papers or registrations to do that. Is my Ohio registration enough?
I Don’t Think You Need Anything
Here in NC you don’t need any registration. I’ve paddled in SC and didn’t get arrested. Someone should chime in here shortly.
(I think the Wright Brothers tested planes here to get away from regulation)
You need a PFD per person,
an audible signaling device (whistle)and a light if traveling at night. We have no kayak registration in SC.
