several years ago I made a trip to reo reservoir in new york state.it was closed & I never heard anything after that.what is the status of this place?
Haven’t heard of it. Perhaps it is one
of those water supply reservoirs that are kept closed for reasons of purity and security.

some damn several lakes away was found to be cracked so they emptied the lake 2 take pressure off of the damns.

Paddled Rio Reservoir yesterday, and it was very pleasant. I’ll be heading back in the fall for some foliage paddling. I also paddled the nearby Mongaup Falls Reservoir - also nice, a little smaller. Both are very full and the surroundings are quite lush from all the recent rain.
