Can you tell by photos if this canoe is made of Royalex? It’s been in the family for a number of years. Would love to know the history.
I would assume that one is Royalex based on the interior color. My Royalex Old Towns have the same sand colored interior. That might not be a definitive way to tell though. I’m sure you could call OT and they would probably be able to tell based on the hull number.

Yes Royalex. Campers are desirable canoes.

Yes Its Royalex and seems to be in nice shape. They made those a long time, so it could be upwards of 40 years old. Should be able to tell by the serial number

Old Town confirmed it is Royalex. Dates back to 1988.

Sent the serial number to Oldtown and they confirmed Royalex. Dates back to 1988. It is in great shape. We were going to sell but I think we will hang onto it for now.
