kayak camping Western Mass area

I’m looking to do a 2-3 day kayak camping trip in the western Mass/Northern Ct. area. I’ll be doing the trip with my daughter and we are both intermediate paddlers. We’re looking for river with current but mild rapids. Any suggestions. Thanks

Housatonic River
How about the Housy, Ct has a riverside state campsite in the falls Village area.

There are some spots to camp on islands, but you need to know the river.
