Ahead of the curve…unintentionally
Just got my susan to take a gander at this over the days first cup of joe.
Seems my escapade with the tern out in the back yard may have put me ahead of the curve.
Was fitting a hand made minicell seat into the tern two days ago and slid into the boat out in the yard…The seat had velcro on the backside …I figured it’d be easier to remove and re-position that way. I’d included side bolsters.
As my sizeable arse slid into the seat I instinctively knew this had been a bad idea. I was litterly wedged in place.
With the torn tendons in the shoulder, pushing up out of the cockpit wasn’t an option and I couldn’t get my legs up and out (that kind of flexibility slows when you’re over 60)so…I rolled the tern on its side and while sue held the boat (midst fits of laughter)I clawed my way out…seat still stuck to my arse. Who knew that two days later I could push the entire episode off on learning to dry roll?
