Does anyone have any advice on kayaking at pictured rocks in the upper peninsula of Michigan?

Except choose your outfitter carefully if you go that route. Some have guides that make poor decisions.

Agree. Uncle Ducky’s has a lousy record.
Northern Waters Adventures has been guiding for over 25 years and has an excellent safety record. Their guides have to undergo a full week of training as well as additional training on bad weather days.
