Keeping electronic key fob safe on the water

came here to say Pelican Case. I work in theatre, we swear by pelican cases of all types. I use a Pelican Ruk for storing my wallet, phone, keys, and having crohn’s disease, even toiletpaper.

My 1010 case used for my first flip phone was retired until it returned to service to hold my key fob. I sprunge the hinge by cracking the barrel when the fob protruded near the back as I forced the lid closed. The 1030 went to my sister for hher phone upgrade. The 1060 for my new phone was hard to find; its almost large enough for a lap top, and it cost . . . Well, far less than a replacement phone.

I am seeing them on Ebay: (i don’t have to have new)

I just use a small floating bag with a ziplock type of seal. It’s designed as a waterproof phone bag but there’s room for a fob too.

I think I’ve perfected the double dry bag system. I use two Marchway dry bags. A small one with my keys, wallet, and phone in it, within a large one that also has a couple other small items clipped to my seat. I never open the dry bags when I’m out since I use my Gopro to film and take photos.
