Kettle Pond

Recently “kettle pond” came up in a post. I don’t think it was ever defined . So this southerner looked it up. Seems that it is glacier related depressed ice that left a hole in the ground/sediment. A northern thing.

That only works with cast iron…before the came up with ceramic coated cast iron.
