Looking to repair an early Old Town kevlar canoe, serial number is XTC01704L788. Mostly surface abrasion but a couple of deeper gouges, no holes. Seeking advice.
Marine epoxy works fine with kevlar, and so does fiberglass cloth. For most abrasions, and gouges, I would use thickened epoxy with microballoons or other filler. Then sand it and paint.
