When I read this post,
I thought it was me writing it.
Especially on missing the early spring races, but enough pain is enough, and I’ll probably be joining you since the second knee is starting to give out.
Cheers, and good luck

Tend to your health, it’s more important
Well
I did it!!! What was I thinking ,Im a week out and want someone to shoot me.
I never had surgery where they make you do PT all day long.
Every surgery I have had they say rest, but not this.
I got on my speedstroke yesterday and lasted about 5 minutes.
I
m just whining I know it will get better.
Damm. chills just thinking 'bout your
robot knee now. No turning back eh ? Weird.
Can you range it enough to get on a bike ? THAT is some newfound freedom from the sweaty PT.
Don’t let ‘em bully you … just move it as much as you can. Things inside still have to adapt and line up and connect on many non-scientific levels. The range will come along with strength … if it hurts too much don’t do it. Better to go one hour twice a day rather than two hours once a day in some ’ open-for-business-hours’ set up.
Life is long. It’ll all come back and in a more solid, linear way than forcing it through some third party regime.
good Jack

knee replacement
I had my tkr 2 yrs ago…I was so diligent in taking pain pills every 4 hours, being agressive with pt (pain pills helped w/that)…within 6 months I was feeling normal again. I am kayaking, riding my road bike, hiking…pretty much whatever I want to do. I can’t tell my knee is artificial, except there is no pain.
Just be sure to concentrate on the rehab…I wish you the best!
