For line degradation, it’s a very interesting topic, especially to me, because I work in the Engineering department of a company which develop weathering instruments for accelerated material degradation testing. The instruments provide controlled environment to simulate sun light, temperature, humidity, wind, rains, etc. I have paddled for about 15 years, and never linked paddling with my work before. Another good reason to come to this forum.
