Sport Chalet here in the West has
an excellent Labor Day sale going on until Sept 1. Take 30% off all kayaks…sit on top and sit in’s…a deal! They really only carry a few rec. kayaks (Old Town), but they have lots of SOT’s. Example: OK Prowler 15 is $840. then take off 30% to get it to the $600. level…sweet. Also all paddles are the sae 30% off and I did see some high end Werners.

Offshore in Vernon Hills (Chicago) has the same or better everyday pricing on Wildy and Current Designs as Rutabaga's online "sale" prices. If you're looking for a Tsunami series or a CD touring boat and you're in the Chicago-area, probably worth giving them a call before trekking up to Madison.
