We are going to be the the Lake Cora area of SW Michigan and wondering what to expect for types and sizes of fish, We will probably be fishing from canoes. It’s a little too far to bring our kayaks from Maine.

i live in indiana just south of sw michigan and cory lake is the only lake ive ever heard of with a name similar to cora…if so northern pike , lg mth bass, crappie, yellow perch, bluegill are the main fish of choice in sw michigan…find a small bait and tackle shop and they can steer you in the right direction…while your in swm ask a local where the store called “lunkers” is loacted…its a big sports shop like cabelas or bass pro shop …good rainy day day trip…paddle on !!
