Anyone ever paddled Lake Drummond in the Dismal Swamp area?

Yes
Beautiful in the spring. Although Drummond is in the “Dismal Swamp,” it is not dismal. Two things to watch: 1) The entrances into the Lake are hard to re-locate when you are on the lake. Be sure to have a GPS so you can find your way out again. 2) If the wind picks up, the shallow lake can be very rough and nasty. Otherwise, it is a interesting national wildlife refuge and historic area.
