I’m planning a weeklong trip to Lake Superior Provincial Park. I have some flexibility in picking the date, from mid-july to late september. We were targeting early september, but I want to find out more about conditions during that time of year. Can anyone provide input on conditions from mid july to september?
Hot, cold, just right
We paddled the Pukaskwa Coast mid-July last summer. Experienced 4 days of 90 degree temps. Cold fronts would come thru bringing 40 degree nights and 75-80 degree days. Had one full day wind bound at the Ghost River (The Flats) and a couple of days where we pulled off early due to afternoon winds.
A most enjoyable adventure and a truly magic place.
