I have never been to this area but I will be there next weekend, freshman orientation, and I wanted to get information about places to paddle in this area. I will only be able to paddle on Sunday before heading home and was wonder what would be the best place to rent a kayak or canoe and what options are there for day paddles on the lake. Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Have been there, but not to paddle.
Suggest you try various Google entries and see if there are outfitters serving the area.
The lakes may be kind of power-boaty. See if someone is outfitting for the rivers.
