Large canoes in the BWCA

I’m curious if anyone knows of places in the BWCA that might rent traditional Voyageur-like canoes - meaning canoes of around 25ft. Looking at the possibility of a more “historic” trek through the BWCA. Thanks. Brian

Have you tried Steve Piragis’s NorthCountry Outfitters in Ely? Also check the Ely (Minnesota) Chamber of Commerce…If there is, they will know.

Piragis’s NorthCountry Outfitters has one of their own, which they lead guided tours on. But I will check with the Ely Chamber to see if they know of anyone renting one. I see that Clipper makes one but have yet to actually see a Clipper in the BWCA. Thanks.
