Still some light until nearly 9 pm in SW MI but the days are clearly getting shorter and the signs of Fall are clear. We’ve had a long streak of good weather with highs around 80 and lows around 60 and the evenings have been just delightfully cool and calm on the St Joseph river.

I wish we had chosen the St. Joe instead of the Paw Paw on Wednesday – this was the sort of paddling I was hoping for to introduce my cousin to the water!
