how about
keeping the legend and adding a solo canoe to your fleet to play in the rivers. A Bell Wildfire would work or the Yellowstone in royalex. The solo canoe will be skill intensive but you will only become a better kayaker as a result.
hate to say this
but a solo canoe is probably next on the list. I paddled sparkleberrry swamp last month and the Saluda River a couple of times and thought how much fun they would be. Even on the Edisto, there was a guy there with a 15 foot canoe that did quite well with the rest of us.
(In both cases the paddlers had double kayak padles and single paddles…great versatility!)
We are house shopping here in Columbia and spent the better part of yesterday looking at homes. Obvious issues are boat storage requirements in garage space and back yard space for a shed or lean to of sorts.
