Want to kayak the Lehigh for the first time & was thinking of putting in at the Bowmanstown Riverside Park. Is it feasible to paddle upstream a mile or two then drift down & do a little fishing? The water looks kinda slow in that area on Google Earth but thought I would ask someone that knows the area.
