Lendal or Werner?

how about it?
I do not know. OP was about Lendal and Werner.

re: werner repairing
If you break a blade on a Werner paddle, you can send it back to Werner and they will repair it for a fee, ~175 for one blade on an Ikelos (the most expensive because it has a foam core). I know someone who broke the blade by using it to push off the beach!

sometimes
I wish my Ikelos was bigger!, but the rest of the time it is perfect.

Werner Vā€™s Lendal
Coming from a British company I almost feel traitorous saying it but the foam filled Werner blades are almost impossible to beat; lighter, more rigid, tough and strong. Shaft wise although I have used the Lendal crank several times over the years, the problem for me is getting the grips far enough apart to match my natural grip. For me the Werner crank grip position is far more natural and the indexing on all their shafts far more natural.

The only paddle type Lendal currently has that Werner doesnā€™t is the Kinetic Touring Wing, so unless this is your bag or you are a fan of the highly indexed style of Lendal shafts it would be hard not to give the edge to Werner

ā€¦but, considering I already bought the Lendalā€¦too late!

But - you know you can redeem yourselfā€¦send me the first Anas Acuta RMā€¦

The Werner Cyprus
What a great blade

The Ikellos looks too big for me, but the reviews are ten (10).

BTW, Iā€™m a 10 (lol)
