light , not tippy?

We need a light weight and not tippy canoe. We have a Coleman canoe that is very tippy and heavier than I would like. Any opinions are appreciated.

Stable

In any canoe, lowering the seats will make it feel more stable. An inch or two will make a noticeable difference.

Wenonah has a wide range of models that are available with light layups. Lincoln has some models with a lot of primary stability in a light layup. The Old Town Stillwater is another option.

The Sportspal comes with sponsons.

Is the problem the apparent tippiness on flat water, or in waves & wakes?
