lightweight hunting kayak or canoe.

Any suggestions on a good 10 ft wide open kayak or canoe that would be very stable to duck hunt out of?

I can either build it or buy it. Must have room for 80lb lab, decoys, and me. Stablity is a must. Sitting and shooting is not easy with a

dog moving around. Also lightweight helps

… Old Towne Canoe & Kayak people make 1 or two models specifically for this use. They even make it in an olive drab color for camoflage,

… I have never paddled one, but they show it on their web page.

Check out pokeboat.com for light weight boats that might serve your purposes. The Poke Boat and the Duck Boat are both light weight and stable, but quite expensive.
