Any place people know of to test paddle Lincoln kayaks? Do they do that at their place in Amesbury MA? Already searched the forum, couldn’t find much current info. Thanks!

I replaced Lincoln with Stellar Kayaks a long time ago. The Lincoln’s owner is no longer the builder so I don’t know how easy it is to get a model on the water. If in the Quoddy or Chebeague lines, I would recommend something in the Stellar S14 family. Two Lights = ST17. I’m forgetting what their sea kayaks are called right this second but the Stellar Intrepid would fall into the same class. More nimble though.

Ya, I emailed Lincoln and haven’t heard anything. As far as I can tell, it looks they do direct to consumer sales now. Their boats look nice, but that’s no substitute for trying one. I’m considering 9 boats across 5 brands, including the Stellar S14 LV G2, all within narrow band of light touring/advanced rec., sub-35 pounds.
