Its a very original design. Never seen anything like it!! It sure is beautiful, but the Durability seems questionable.
the weights looks intriguing!
Would also like to hear from owners of these exotic looking kayaks.

No gel coat
just a layer of epoxy paint (hence the low weight), would be very careful with it. Though I would search the site, some guy posted on it, took second place in a big race in rough conditions, he really liked it. But it looks funny to me!, though I think it is very stable.
Father son design team
Both are MIT grads and have been involved in the designing and selling of high speed tri-hull sailboats prior to this venture. Their kayak designs are rooted in their sailboat designs. I have no clue on how succesful their design theories work in this application, but it is nice to see a serious attempt at thinking outside of the box. I think the epoxy paint is tougher then some might realize.
