Greetings. I am starting off my research and hoping to purchase a Kayak next year, either before or during spring. I am trying to figure out what my options are and have been looking at the Stratos 12.5L.
I currently paddle a Dagger blackwater 10.5 and enjoy the option of a dropdown skeg. My current weight is 220 pounds at 5’11" and I have limited storage space, hence the shorter length kayak. I am mainly looking at paddling within the Colorado area in reservoirs and rivers but want something capable of a day or weekend pack trip and capable of class II rivers, while being able to potentially handle going through above a class II if conditions are not great.
Do you see any potential problems with my selection so far and would you have other recommendations?
