Looking more like spring

Still snow on the ground but we did 3 days - 2 nights on the Manistee River last weekend. A little cool in the AM (upper 20s) but sunny & warm later. The river was up & moving. Good fun especially the fast water below Hodenpyle dam on Sunday. We even had a calm crossing of the pond.

Nice water and surroundings. Snow down there melting faster than up here.

The snow on the banks reminds me of the sugar sand banks of the St. Marys on the GA, FL line.
Nice photos! Looks like a good group. Where’s the fire?

Your definition of a little cool and mine are considerably different.

We’re kind of skipping a prolonged spring. Today is the second day of summer and it is supposed to be in the 80’s. I’ll be on the Columbia and I’m hoping I don’t have to share it with too many sea lions.

Fire came later - the big furnace in the sky as still running.

Looks like a great trip. Great pictures.
