Mad River Canoe identification explorer

Hi all,

I’ve got an older Mad River Canoe. It’s an Explorer as it still has the decals. I just can’t seem to determine exactly what one it is. Pretty sure it’s a 1999 model from
The Hull ID. What’s throwing me off is the first few of the Hull ID being MADAX. I can’t find the AX anywhere on the site or PDF.

Any help is appreciate. Curious what people think it’s worth too. It’s well used but has no holes. Has two seats.

FWIW - I used to own a 16ft Mad River Explorer canoe in Royelex with the serial# MADAX768…etc.
