Mad River Explorer ID

Hi Folks! I inherited a Mad River Explorer and I’d love help identifying the material it’s made of. It’s my first canoe- and it needs a few gel coat repairs and has some oxidation!

unfortunately the hull id number (HIN) doesn’t always include material designation.
The HIN decoder says,

MAD = Confluence Watersports Co (Out of Business)
EX930 = Boat Serial Number
A4 = Manufactured January 1994
94 = Model year 1994

Usually a kevlar Explorer would have a KA suffix on the HIN, so if it’s not Royalex then most likely fiberglass. How much does it weigh ?
