As with all things virus the usual island site cleanups that MITA schedules have not gone forward this season. So MITA is doing something else which is neat, and is made easier with the cell phone app you get as a member.
They are asking people to visit MITA sites with a garbage bag, do some cleanup, and send back pictures. Status on a particular site can be checked via the MITA app.
So if you are there anyway, consider bringing out some garbage and letting MITA know the spot has been cleared…
