Mich. wooden sea kayak symposium

Isn’t there a wooden kayak symposium of some sort in Michigan’s U.P. or the northern part of the lower peninsula each summer? I see there is a Great Lakes sea kayak symposium in Grand Marais each summer, but that’s not really a wooden boat thing.

Bay City
There used to be (not sure if they do it anymore) a wooden boat show in Bay City,MI which is the home of West Systems.

but the iron kayak symposium was a complete bust.
