Mini- cell padz sheet removal?

Ok wife wanted pads for heels in eddyline thermo boat. It is now all torn up and needs to be removed. Any suggestions? Foam I could probably remove mostly with plastic scraper but adhesive may be a problem. Thanks

I’ll try WD 40 soaking on it. I’ll do a small test spot first.

Remove the foam using a paint scraper or similar device. Sometimes just leaving the contact cement residue covered with water for a couple of days will do the trick. If not, various solvents can be tried.

I have generally had good luck using paint thinner or mineral spirits. You may need to apply some mild abrasion to break up the glue residue and allow the solvent to penetrate. Try a Scotch-Brite pad.
