I HAVE BEEN GIVEN A OLDER CANOE,AND IT IS MISSING THE PART AT EITHER END THAT INCLUDES THE HANDLES. THIS PART ALSO APPEARS TO STRENGTHEN EACH END OF THE CANOE,SORRY, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THE NAME OF THIS PART. IS THERE SOMEONE THAT CAN HELP ME FIND THESE PARTS. THANKS IN ADVANCE

I think you’re taking about the deck and grab handles. Each company makes their own and, if the company is still in existance, will probably sell you replacement parts. Do you know who the manufacturer is? What are the first 3 characters on the serial number (it should be on the back right side up near the top)?
Even if you don’t have that info, decks are easy to make yourself. Any handyman can make and install them for you. Just show him an example and he can do it.
