I got the bent shaft paddle and the handle came loose. Do I just glue it back it with epoxy? I bought this from the old mohawk guys early this year or late last year. It is the only problem I’ve ever had with one of their paddles. the other mohawks have been indestructable
JB Weld seemed to work ok
A few years ago I had a Mohawk paddle grip come loose and glued it back on with JB Weld. Haven’t had any problems with it since, though now that I have more variety of paddles the Mohawk is mostly a spare.
Don’t forget
to rough up both surfaces with sandpaper, and clean them with a mild solvent like alcohol before epoxying it back together.
