Mohawk since sale

Does anyone have info or comments on Mohawk canoes since the sale and move of factory to Arkansas. All the reviews I have been able to find here and in other places seem to be pre-sale. Just wondering if anything has changed significantly since the sale.

good question

same one posed on another site (dedicated WW site for c-boats hint hint) and no answer the last time I looked either.

yeah
they were good when they were in Longwood Florida… i have no idea about them now, but i suspect they sold out due to the hyper-inflated land values in the long-wood area… They probbally made a killing.

The owners were getting older
That appears to have been the reason for the sale.

Service…
I can’t comment on the quality of their new boats yet, but I did order a set of airbags and various hardware from them last summer. My items arrived promptly and they spent the time to answer my questions about installation, etc. (email and phone).

I’d say from a customer service standpoint, they’re great.

Maybe try ACC
Maybe you could try to post on the Arkansas Canoe Club board. They are some of the nicest folks I have ever met and from time to time i have seen posts on their forum about Mohawk.

I was aware of his death long before
the notice appeared here. Read it on a birding website.
