Has Mad River nixed their Horizon Series in favor of the Reflections that they got from Dagger?
The Reflections seem to have had a good reputation, but I thought the Horizons looked very good. Never got a chance to paddle any of them, alas.

We are currently building the mold for the 18’ Horizon. We got the plug from Jim Henry (the designer). This will only be available in Kevlar. Mad River dropped the composite version in 2001. I don’t know the status of the Royalex Horizons that MRC was doing.

Well that looks like another really good design. Just going by the specs and write up on the Quintana website, it looks like a dandy boat.
