Been years since I was stationed at Myrtle Beach AFB (1981-1983) but we used to go to this great joint called “Flo’s”. Seafood was served on newspapers and there was plenty of beer!! It was awesome!!
I know that MBAFB no longer exists and I wonder if Flo’s is still even around?!?!?!

behind the KFC next to the swamp fox rollercoaster is a tidal pond called a “swash” it’s fair sized and the channel goes by the amusement park and out into the ocean to second ave pier where there’s decent fishing
