A friend and I (both Greenland-style paddlers) were talking while paddling about how nice it would be to have an OC version of the Explorer and Romany. We both vaguely recalled that Nigel used to offer an OC version of the Explorer? The more important question: Anyone know if NDK will do an OC Romany or Explorer?

I don’t think that there was such a beast.

I think that is extremely unlikely.
Part of the reason is that the OC will tend to appeal to “traditionalists” who would really never choose the Romany or Explorer.
(I suppose one could get one custom built.)
Greenlander
The Greenlander (not Greenlander Pro) has it. It’s actually a “round” cockpit, not like the ocean cockpit on the older Nordkapps and Pintails.

Valley has some great OC boats, Anas Acuta, Pintail and Nordkapp Classic, HM or HS models.
I prefer an OC myself, but I also prefer the livelier rounded hulls of the Valley boats as opposed to the flat bottomed NDK boats.
