NDK Quality?

Welsh Dragon

I believe North Shore, like Valley and P&H, are made in England so no Welsh Dragon for those boats. You could, however, have an English Lion on your English boat. http://www.zazzle.com/english+lion+stickers

Rockpool kayaks are made in Wales and would also qualify for a Welsh Dragon.

P&H boats already often come with a Union Jack on deck.

Thanks I browsed and made my choice

It's a Welsh Griffin. How that differs from a dragon I don't know -- mythology is not my strong point -- but the dragon is the symbol for England and it's doubtful that any self-respecting Welshman would want that on any thing.

Unless it was a leek, which would look a bit silly.

Just my contribution to the further growth of this now-amusing thread...

I changed my mind. Here is my kayak sticker:

Not a Griffin
The Welsh heraldic animal is a dragon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_Dragon

A Griffin (gryphon) is a different animal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Griffin

holyhead, wales…
not england.

that’d be the wrong answer down at the pub, boy-o

end note
Demoe’d Romany. Liked Romany a lot. Dealer offered a really good price becuase this particular Romany doesn’t have a skeg. Bought Romany.

I guess I now have a “fleet.”

Paddle on.

Congratulations…
Enjoy it. The boat is a blast to paddle.

BTW, in the 5 years I’ve owned a Romany, I have almost never used the skeg. Two of the longest term Romany paddlers I know each have ones without skeg.
