I want to know how easy or hard it is to change the color of the coaming. I am wondering if sanding, acetone wipe, and a 1 part polyurethane paint will work.
Yes it will work. Two part is a lot more durable. One part can be redone or touched up easy. One part should be durable enough for a combing. 3M two hundred wetodry then paint. Not sure if you doing underneath it can be a PITA.
Not positive but your existing combing is probably gelcoat on the surface.
