Brand new to canoeing and fishing, just got a 13 foot Canoe that needs new gunwales. I intend to replace it myself with the help from my young kids (fun, isn’t it?).
After some research, it seems aluminum gunwales (2-piece) will be good.
But I have no idea where to order and pick up locally, otherwise, online shipping cost will outweigh the benefits. I live in Fairfax County in northern Virginia near Washington D.C…
