Lake One Entry Point
1) Sounds like your 1st visit to BWCA.

2) Lake One Entry Point (EP) is usually the place most start at.

3) Get permit to enter Lake One.

4) Paddle to Lake 2 via 2 short portages.

5) Paddle to Lake 3 and 4.

6) Camp and have fun.

7) This is a good web site to learn http://www.bwca.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=forum.forum&confId=1&forumId=12&CFID=144723257&CFTOKEN=24381344

Looks
like more information needed…

Do You want to do a loop?

do You want to paddle in and set up camp for the entire time and fish?

What town do You want to visit on the way?

The BWCA is full of just exactly what You mentioned…and You can go thru Ely or Grand Marais, depending on the type of lakes and terrain You wish to be in (smaller lakes , long flat portages or steep short portages or no /few portages)

What kind of fish? Lake Trout? Northern?

Do You want to see other people? or feel like You are all alone?

More information…

Best Wishes
