So I need help buying my first tandem kayak. I actually need to purchase two of them. They are for myself, my wife our 2 kids, ages 13 and 12. I’m looking for a fishing kayak that we can take on lakes and ponds and maybe into the bay once in a while. I was looking at the ocean kayak Malibu xl and the BKC 12.9ft fishing tandem. Can someone give me some advice because this is really overwhelming with all the choices out there. I’m looking to spend about $1000 each.
