OK, just bought three hoists. On my first look at the instructions, they are incomprehensible so I need some help. The drawing in their instructions shows that the ceiling joists run towards the garage door, while local code here requires otherwise. So my joists run parallel to the garage door. Does not look like to me they will work if the joists go the other way. If you know how to install them opposite to the instructions, I would appreciate knowing. Pictures would be ideal. My studs are bare so they are easy to get at and see.
