New paddle for my Tupper

A $500 paddle
like the AT is like crystal meth. Once tried, forever addicted. Be careful if a sly older gent offers you to “just give it a try…”

Jim

I tried that. She has more self control
than we do.

What are you using String?
In your RapidFire that is.

Jim

BTW - my trusty old Tilley didn’t survive it’s last washing. I had been using Oxyclean to whiten the sweat stains, and the fabric finally tore.

Luckily I have a backup. Years ago I bought a hemp model and have been keeping it in storage.

trusty old tilley
Jim,

Last I knew Tilley hats had a lifetime guarantee.

I had one from the first year they sold them in the USA and the sweat band disintegrated from washing. I sent it back and they installed a new one at no charge. Worth a try to see what they would do.

Of course if you do get a new one you have to protect the hat by “not sweating the small stuff” and concurrently remember “that it’s mostly small stuff”.

Dave

you use a two-bladed paddle in a canoe?
Isn’t that like one of the seven deadly sins??

Yeah, but
The boat flies and directional issues pretty much disappear. The knees usually get wet though.

Cover knees
Charlie,

You should be covering up your ugly knees with waterproof pants so as not to add to visual pollution in a place as pretty as the Adirondacks.

The Rapidfire does fly with a double paddle.

Dave

Without double bladers,
who would single bladers have to look down on?
