I found a new royalex canoe and it has a small quarter size indent that seems a little soft. Should I be concerned?

I saw one like that at Scheels Sporting. They had it marked down in price. They said it was they’re own fault. Employees handled it bad.

Sounds like it could be firmed up with some local application of epoxy.
